Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where will the games be held?

All games will be held in Larose near the Larose Civic Center.

2. When will the games be held?

Games will be played on Saturday mornings starting in late December and ending in January or February.
Games are scheduled in the morning starting at 8:00am and ending around 2:00pm.

3.  Who is eligible to play in the league?

Boys and Girls from age 5 to 14.  The cut-off date for ages is August 1st.

4.  What about practices?

Practices are at the discretion of the coach.
Most teams practice once or twice per week.

5.  What about registration?

Registration fee is $65 and includes an official NFL Flag Football jersey that is reversable (white / dark) and flags for practices and games.

6.  What is the player / parent required to provide?

Players must provide a short with no pockets (color to be determined by coach), shoes / cleats, and a mouthpiece.

7.  How many players are on a team?  What are the rules?

There are 5 or 6 players on the field during games...basically 5 on 5 or 6 on 6.  Teams
are usually made up of 7 to 10 players total.  Flag football is a non-contact sport.
Games are usually continuous running time halves or four quarters with a brief halftime period.
